Curriculum
At the Manor Field Schools Federation, we have designed our curriculum with pupils’ learning and development at the centre. We believe that the curriculum is a powerful tool that fosters a love of learning and willingness to explore. Therefore, we are committed to valuing and developing key learning attributes to equip children with the skills they need to learn effectively and to have the confidence to meet the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life. Our ultimate aim is for our pupils to be successful in the future, whatever their strengths. This captures the inclusive nature of our school where children are challenged and supported. With transferable skills in English and Mathematics at the heart, we offer a curriculum that is creative and responsive to local and national stimuli. The Manor Field curriculum is carefully planned out so that children build upon knowledge and understanding and are taught to become citizens within the school, the local community and the wider world. We prepare children so that they are able to make positive contributions to our society and the world around them.
The Manor Field Schools are currently reviewing our curriculum to ensure that is provides a seamless journey from Foundation Stage to Year 6. As part of this we are awaiting the outcome of the government curriculum review.
